Hi everybody, I'm finally feeling better after what the doctor thinks is an inner ear infection. Still a little off balance and symptoms could last for a while. See you tomorrow though! Can't wait to be back!
I teach private and group piano lessons to students ages 5 and up. Additionally, I also teach a class I call Do Re Music for for children ages 3 1/2 and up, which at this stage is a combination of First Steps in Music curriculum by John Feierabend, Music Moves for Piano by Marilyn Lowe and smatterings of my own curriculum.
I have created this blog as a link to helpful information for students away from the lesson and as a necessary bridge for parents involved in their child's musical growth. Perhaps, this also could be a blog of interest to other music teachers. Finally, this blog is part of my learning process as a teacher (we should always be learning!) and I hope to use it as a tool reflect on what works and what doesn't.
